Company Security Officer Course (CSO, IMO Model Course 3.20)
The ISPS Code Part A paragraph 2.1.7 defines a Company Security Officer (CSO) as the person designated by the Company for ensuring that a ship security assessment is carried out; that a ship security plan is developed, submitted for approval, and thereafter implemented and maintained and for liaison with Port Facility Security Officers (PFSO) and the Ship Security Officer (SSO).
The ISPS Code requires that the CSO shall have received training as in Part B Paragraph 13.1 in order to perform the duties and responsibilities as in ISPS Code Part A paragraph 11.2.
We present the CSO training course in 4 days as prescribed in IMO Model Course 3.20.

We also present an optional additional module for the private maritime security industry, incorporating BIMCO’s Best Management Practices Version 4 (BMP4) and the International Standardisation Organisation Publicly Available Specification 28007 Guidelines for Private Maritime Security Companies providing privately contracted armed security personnel on board ships (ISO/PAS 28007).
