Local and international trade explained and the purpose of border protection. The international trade cycle and the various role Players. International logistics mechanisms including modes of transport. Methods of international payment, and foreign currencies.

Day Two – ICC Incoterms ®2010 Rules:

In-depth explanation of The Incoterms® Used in the contract of sale effecting Buyers and Sellers Risks and Obligations.

Day Three – Planning an Export Sales Transaction:

Arranging export logistics. Carry out export finance and risk management. Export in compliance with statutory requirements. Monitor and control an export transaction.

Day Four – Planning an Import Transaction:

Carry out an import landed costing. Applying for statutory approval. Prepare and distribute import orders. Arrange import forward exchange cover. Arrange transit insurance cover. Apply for Documentary Credit (letters of credit). Day Five- International Trade Documentation:
