Payment must be made at least 7 working days before commencement of the Course/Workshop – proof of payment must be faxed or e-mailed to our offices. We reserve a few seats on each course for last minute registrations which need to be accompanied with a Proof of Payment.
e-Certificates will be sent Via email or delivered electronically,the certificates are High resolution full colour Jpeg Files that can be printed.
No Shows will be charged the full fees. Substitutions are most welcome, providing the substitute attends within 3 months from date of original course. Non-attendance by the substitute within this period will lead to no further extension and you will forfeit your payment.
2. Cancellations will only be accepted in writing, if it is done 7 working days before the commencement of the Course/Workshop – cancellations thereafter will not be accepted and no monies will be refunded. Cancellations received 7 working days before the start of a training course will be issued a credit voucher for the value paid to be used for up to one year from date of issue for any future training.
3. School of Shipping reserves the right to postpone courses, should there be less than 10 students. Please note a credit for future training will be issued should a course be postponed. School of Shipping assumes no liability whatsoever in the event a course is rescheduled or postponed.
4. In the event of cancellations, where a refund is unavoidable due to agreed circumstances e.g. canceled well in advance of course an administration fee of R250.00 excluding VAT will be deducted from the overall amount.Classroom Course Assesments- Learners completing classroom course assessments will receive 30 days to access to our elearning managemnet system by way of a User name and Password , The 30 days access will be valid from the day of receipt of the login details . Assessments included in classroom courses have a runtime of 30 Days
In accepting this order and confirming the booking, we hereby indemnify SCHOOL OF SHIPPING (Proprietary) Limited, its affiliated companies, directors, shareholders, agents (whether
authorised or not), employees, servants, representatives and officers (“SCHOOL OF SHIPPING”) for any claim that may arise against SCHOOL OF SHIPPING for any loss, damage (including direct, indirect
and consequential damages and/or loss of profits), costs (including legal costs on the scale as between attorney and client and any additional legal costs), expenses
and/or liability (whether actual, contingent or otherwise) of whatever nature and however arising or caused (including liability in terms of section 60 and 61 of the Consumer
Protection Act, 68 of 2008), which SCHOOL OF SHIPPING or any third party may suffer, incur or sustain or which may arise, directly or indirectly as a result of the personal injury or death of
our employees and/or representatives whilst they undertake training presented by SCHOOL OF SHIPPING. I have read and agree to the terms and conditions in Section 6 and I have
authorisation to sign on behalf of the company. I am aware that it is my responsibility to contact SCHOOL OF SHIPPING if I do not receive an acknowledgement to this booking. I agree to
my details being added to SCHOOL OF SHIPPING’s database in order that information relating to my booking can be sent to me
